CAR RAIN BUCKETS
Material research, Object, Exhibition
KBH Kunsthal, Krabbesholm, 2019
During my residency in the north of Denmark, I went collecting natural clay on the island of Fur.
After gathering more than 200 kg of clay I made different samples to test temperatures, limits, and qualities of the different types.
The result was very interesting: more than 4 different types of earthenware were tested in their properties. One clay, in particular, turned out to be uncontrollable in form and texture during firings, creating natural and random shapes.
All the material research and the vases experimentations were exhibited at the KBH Kunsthal.
