We create exciting experiences for museums to engage new audiences in learning about Nordic historical figures in a playful and creative way.
We find the ghosts that reside in the digitized data of museums and archives and we evoke them using open source microcontroller technology and our expertise in interaction and game design.
We bind the ghosts into physical, interactive objects to be exhibited in museums. Visitors can then play with these objects to engage in immersive dialogues with mysterious echoes from the past, while creating their own interpretations of Nordic cultural heritage.

We are bringing the spirit of Frederik Ferdinand Hansen back to life and holding it within the house of Flynderupgård for the duration of this exhibition – and perhaps ever after.
The company A Gothic Tale has been working with the museum Flynderupgård to create a new exhibition. Visitors to Flynderupgård will engage in a personal experience with the ghost of F. F. Hansen—represented by the robots and the glitched images of the screens—and hereby learning about his travels to West India, his daughter, son and their relations, and his concerns as a man of the Enlightenment.
